Background
Oen gives organizations of all kinds one platform to take donations, sell products, and host events. Some need a website of their own, for more customization and a more professional look than the built-in pages offer.
My role
Instead of a one-off design for every client, I built a template system that business and engineering teams could reuse. I designed the system and worked with the business team and clients to build each site.
Template system
The template system covers common sections: header navigation, footer, rich content, gallery, item lists. Every site still runs on the platform's backend, so each design had to stay compatible with it, and that constraint was the main challenge in making each site look distinct.
